What is Angry IP Scanner ?

  • Angry IP Scanner (or simply ipscan) is an open-source and cross-platform network scanner. 
  • It scans IP addresses and ports as well as has many other features. 
  • It is widely used by network administrators, security professionals, hackers and curious users around the world, including large and small enterprises, banks, and government agencies. 
  • It runs on Linux, Windows, and Mac OS X, possibly supporting other platforms as well.

      • Free and open-source. 
      • Installation not required. 
      • Works on Windows, Mac and Linux. 
      • Scans local networks as well as the Internet. 
      • IP Range, Random or file in any format. 
      • Exports results into many formats. 
      • Extensible with many data fetchers. 
      • Provides command-line interface.

        Requirements 


         Note: 

        • To run Angry IP Scanner, Java libraries are required. Click here to install Java 11 (Official).

        • Click here to download from the official site. 

          Install 

          •  No need to install this application, we can directly run this application. 

          Usage 

          Scan for Alive Hosts in a Network

          • Goto Downloads folder and double click on the ipscan-win64-3.7.6.exe file. 

          • We can modify the scanner configuration like preferences, fetchers according to our requirement. 
          • Start the scan, Click on Start. 



          • Click on Close. Got the IP addresses of live hosts in my network.   


          Uninstall  

          • No need to Uninstall this application. Goto Downloads, right click on the ipscan-win64-3.7.6.exe file and click on Delete. 


          Conclusion 

          • Angry IP Scanner 3.7.6 is tested on Windows 7 Professional on Virtualbox.
